Before Jaxson Hayes was a 6’11” rising center for the New Orleans Pelicans, he played wide receiver and tight end at Cincinnati’s Archbishop Moeller High School. His football background goes even deeper, as his father, Jonathan, played 11 years in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers. Jaxson’s high school growth spurt—from 6’1" as a freshman to 6’10” as a senior—cleared up any confusion about which sport he would excel in.
