Cavaliers Rookie Darius Garland Lands Autograph Deal with Upper Deck
The tumult of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 2019-20 NBA season hasn’t stopped Darius Garland from shining on or off the court. The rookie guard out of Vanderbilt recently signed with Upper Deck to provide the trading card company with exclusive autographed memorabilia and collectibles.
The company’s website now sports a section featuring items inked by Darius, including jerseys basketballs and photos.
“We are very excited to see what the future has in store for this talented rookie,” Jason Masherah, President of Upper Deck, said in a statement. “Garland is a young player who has tremendous potential.”
Through his first 53 regular-season games, Darius averaged 12.2 points and 3.8 assists for the Cavs. The 20-year-old son of seven-year NBA veteran Winston Garland was the No. 5 pick in the 2019 draft.
