Damian Lillard, Pusha T Debut Song, Adidas Sneaker Collab During NBA All-Star Weekend

Damian Lillard’s groin injury may have kept him out of the Three-Point Shootout on Saturday and the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday. But the Portland Trail Blazers mainstay was busy nonetheless in Chicago, thanks in no small part to his work with Pusha T on behalf of adidas.

In conjunction with the Windy City’s festivities, the German sportswear giant dropped the Dame 6 x Pusha T colorway of the point guard’s signature shoe, as well as a music video featuring the sneakers’ namesakes alongside Pharrell Williams.

Damian didn’t contribute any bars to the track, though he did make history as the first player to perform during NBA All-Star Weekend—in his new kicks, no less. Dame D.O.L.L.A.’s medley at the United Center, prior to the Slam Dunk Contest, included appearances by rapper Lil Wayne and singer Jeremih.

The sneaker, which features an imprint of the phrase “I Am My Own Fan” on the medial midsole, is now on sale at select Chicago retailers and at adidas.com for $140.
