For the last decade, NBA trainers Phil Handy and Rico Hines have dominated the summer basketball scene in Los Angeles. While Phil has worked with LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Kawhi Leonard and other All-Stars, Rico has hosted the most popular pickup run in town at UCLA, where players like James Harden and Russell Westbrook are regulars.

This season, Phil and Rico have both been in California—Rico as a player development coach for the Sacramento Kings; Phil as an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers—and now they're both back in LA to ride out the NBA’s coronavirus shutdown.
