For the first time as an NBA player, Spencer Jones returned to Bishop Miege High School for his first-ever community initiative in his hometown of Kansas City. He revisited the halls where his journey began and reconnected with the people and community that helped shape him.

Led through the day by his former coach Rick Zych, Spencer addressed the entire student body of nearly 700, sharing his perspective on AI, tech and the future of education, and was interviewed by the school’s journalism program. He was also surprised by former teammates, joined them for a basketball shootout and capped off the day by leading the school fight song ahead of the first football game of the season.

From Bishop Miege to the NBA—and now back to inspire the next generation.
