Several years ago, Minnesota Timberwolves veteran Kyle Anderson and his mom, Suzanne, made an amazing discovery: they had family roots in China. That led to them meeting their long-lost relatives for the first time in 2018 in a small village in Shenzhen, where his great grandfather was born.

The experience was so moving for Kyle that it led to him making history last year as the first American to become a naturalized Chinese citizen and join the country's national team in the FIBA Basketball World Cup. Now, the Olympics await this summer.
