Anthony Davis, Kyle Kuzma Ride Lakers Stardom into Foot Locker’s ‘Week of Greatness’ Campaign

Whether they’re on the court with the Los Angeles Lakers or off the court in their own business, Anthony Davis and Kyle Kuzma can’t seem to stop winning. LeBron James’ top sidekicks in purple and gold spun off on their own miniature foray into media by appearing alongside a slew of artists, athletes and influencers in “No Matter What,” Foot Locker’s campaign to promote its eighth annual “Week of Greatness.”

The commercial depicts a frenzy for footwear amid a multi-pronged apocalypse. AD makes his cameo alongside American soccer star Alex Morgan and hip-hop sensation Young Dylan, all of whom are seen scoping out Nike sneakers. Kuz, meanwhile, is caught crawling away from zombies in pursuit of Puma sneakers.

Foot Locker’s colorful ad also includes appearances by rappers DaBaby, Juice WRLD, Megan Thee Stallion and Anuel AA, as well as singers Karol G and ZaZa, actor Ryan Destiny and Instagram star Sophia Pippen, whose father, Scottie, won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls.

AD and Kuz have both appeared in an array of commercials before, including the former’s appearance in a Foot Locker ad during his time with the New Orleans Pelicans.
