NBA Runway, Playoffs Week 5: Season-Ending Streetwear
With the NBA playoffs moving onto the conference finals, the league has lost most of its best dressed to attrition. As such, none of the entrants on our list this week will be moving on to the next round. Just as streetwear ruled most of the 2018-19 season, these players ended with some of their best street chic ensembles. Here are the top five looks from Week 5 of the postseason, starting with No. 5.
5) Ben Simmons, Philadelphia 76ers
Ben Simmons arrived at the Wells Fargo Center in a hypebeast ensemble for the 76ers' Game 6 win over the Toronto Raptors. The All-Star rocked a Burberry sweater over some black jeans, along with Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 1s—the hot item of his wardrobe.
4) Kyrie Irving, Boston Celtics
Outfit: Camo Kyrie
Kyrie Irving pulled up to the Fiserv Forum in a streetwear look for the Celtics' Game 5 series-ending game against the Bucks in Milwaukee. His all-green ‘fit consisted of a hoodie by Online Ceramics and a pair of camo cargo pants. For his kicks, he rocked a pair of Air Jordan 1 SB sneakers.
3) James Harden, Houston Rockets
Outfit: Fear the Beard
James Harden arrived for the Rockets' Game 6 against the Golden State Warriors in a dope Fear of God ‘fit. The Beard wore neutral-toned camo pants by Fear of God with a cream colored hoodie. The reigning MVP paired the look with Yeezy 700 Inertia sneakers.
2) Jimmy Butler, Philadelphia 76ers
Outfit: On Track
Jimmy Butler walked into the Wells Fargo Center in a trendy tracksuit for the Sixers' Game 6 win against the Raptors. The matching set he wore, designed by Stella McCartney, featured chic stripes down each leg. Jimmy Buckets layered the jacket over a graphic tee by Kenzo and finished the look with the popular Chanel x Pharrell sneakers.
1) P.J. Tucker, Houston Rockets
Outfit: Purple Accented P.J.
In his final game of the postseason, P.J. Tucker wore another ensemble fresh off the runway by Marni. The league's fashion king sported a black-and-white checkered suit by the Italian brand, layered over a lavender button-up shirt. He completed the look with a pair of classic Nike Air Maxs.
