Spurs’ Dejounte Murray Joins Kawhi Leonard, Darius Bazley as New Balance NBA Endorser

Dejounte Murray has reunited with Kawhi Leonard—just not on the San Antonio Spurs, or any NBA team, for that matter. This week, the 23-year-old Seattle native officially signed with New Balance, joining Kawhi and Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Darius Bazley among the sneaker brand’s basketball endorsers.

The announcement came by way of a tongue-in-cheek ad, in which Dejounte describes himself as a “professional basketball player and hair icon” while wearing the black and white New Balance OMN1S “Lights Out” colorway.

Dejounte has worn New Balance gear throughout the NBA season to date. His “Lights Out” edition of the company’s flagship basketball shoe is set to drop on December 4, and will be available for $140 through New Balance’s website, at select global flagship stores, and at Shoe Palace and Foot Locker locations in Los Angeles.
